We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our healthcare team in Lawrenceville, GA. As an Ultrasound Tech, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations on patients to produce diagnostic images for physicians. Responsibilities:

• Conduct ultrasound examinations to capture images of patients’ internal organs and tissues.
• Operate ultrasound equipment and adjust settings to obtain high-quality images.
• Position patients appropriately to ensure optimal imaging results and patient comfort.
• Review physician orders and patient medical history to determine appropriate ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and provide accurate diagnoses.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of ultrasound equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
• Provide exceptional patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Stay updated on advances in ultrasound technology and techniques through continuing education and training.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• ARDMS certification or eligibility for certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technician preferred.
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and performing various ultrasound procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
• Flexibility to work evening shifts and occasional weekends as needed.
