We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Rehabilitation Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team in Charlotte, NC. As a Rehab RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality rehabilitative care to patients with physical and mental disabilities, helping them regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical and psychological conditions, designing individualized care plans.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to facilitate the rehabilitation process, including administering medications, providing wound care, and assisting with pain management.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care and maximize patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on their conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
• Monitor patients’ progress, ensuring therapy goals are being met and making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Provide emotional support, counseling, and education to patients and families to help them cope with the challenges of rehabilitation.
• Document patients’ progress and maintain accurate medical records in accordance with facility protocols.
• Adhere to all safety standards, infection control measures, and ethical guidelines in the delivery of care.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in rehabilitation nursing through ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN, preferably in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
• Proven ability to effectively assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
• Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills to manage multiple patients and tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations and provide exceptional patient care.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation, record keeping, and research purposes.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are desirable.
