We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated travel RN to join our growing team of registered nursing professionals.

RN Qualifications:

• BLS
• RN LICENSE (NY State)
• Telemetry Experience Required

Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:

• The Nurse will work closely with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, social workers, psychiatric technicians, and other RNs, to provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health issues.
• They will assess and monitor patients’ psychiatric symptoms and provide appropriate interventions, including medication management, therapeutic interventions, and crisis interventions.
• This role requires the ability to work under pressure and make quick, sound decisions to provide compassionate and ethical care to patients in distress.
• The Psychiatric ER RN will support patients, families, and caregivers by providing education and resources on mental health issues and coping strategies.
• Other responsibilities include patient education, charting, documentation, and reporting of significant events.
