We are currently seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our highly dedicated healthcare team in Atlanta, GA. As an Operating Room RN, you will play a vital role in the surgical team, providing exceptional patient care and assisting surgeons in performing a variety of surgical procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the operating room during surgical procedures
• Set up and maintain surgical equipment and instruments before and after surgeries
• Ensure a sterile and safe environment within the operating room, including proper use of PPE
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, anesthesia administration, and surgical site during procedures
• Administer medications and provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care and recovery process
• Efficiently document patients’ medical charts, records, and reports

Requirements:

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred, but not required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in an operating room or surgical setting
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment, and sterile techniques
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in patient care
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
