We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled MedSurg Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team in Atlanta, GA. As a MedSurg RN, you will provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care for patients admitted to the medical-surgical units. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care, you will collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure positive patient outcomes. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation.

Responsibilities:

– Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patients in the medical-surgical units

– Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers

– Monitoring patient vital signs, symptoms, and general condition, and reporting any changes to the healthcare team

– Collaborating with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

– Providing patient education regarding medications, procedures, and aftercare instructions

– Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all nursing interventions, patient responses, and outcomes

– Maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and safety guidelines

– Assisting with the coordination of patient discharges and transitions of care

– Participating in professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements:

– Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Georgia, USA

– Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in a medical-surgical setting

– BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

– ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification (preferred)

– Strong knowledge of medical-surgical nursing principles and practices

– Proficient in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse healthcare environment
