Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Nursing Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Pikeville, KY. As an RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional healthcare services to patients in a dynamic and fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

– Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within the scope of your nursing practice

– Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care

– Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician

– Monitor and document patient condition, vital signs, symptoms, and progress

– Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions and treatment plans

– Advocate for patient rights and ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for all patients

– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and facilitate patient care

– Provide emotional support to patients and their families during difficult times

– Stay updated on the latest medical practices, policies, and protocols

Requirements:

– Valid RN license in Kentucky

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RN in a medical nursing setting

– BLS and ACLS certification

– Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment

– Proficiency in using electronic health records and other healthcare software

– Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations

– Positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt

– Knowledge of medical ethics and patient confidentiality guidelines
