Travel Nurse – LTC

5x8s – 40hrs – D/E/N Available

$75/hr – $3000 weekly

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Long-Term Care (LTC) Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team in Newark, NY. As an LTC RN, you will be responsible for coordinating and providing specialized nursing care to residents in our long-term care facility. Your primary goal will be to promote the overall well-being and comfort of our residents while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

 

– Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting, including but not limited to monitoring vital signs, administering medications, conducting assessments, and managing overall care plans.

– Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents based on their specific needs and conditions.

– Monitor residents’ conditions and promptly report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.

– Assist with the coordination of healthcare services and ensure continuity of care for residents.

– Educate residents and their families on health management and provide emotional support as needed.

– Ensure compliance with all applicable nursing standards, regulations, and policies.

– Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments, interventions, and other nursing activities.

– Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity and respect are preserved at all times.

– Conduct ongoing evaluation of care plans and adjust them accordingly to meet changing needs.

Requirements:

 

– Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of New York.

– Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in a long-term care or similar setting.

– Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.

– Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, residents, and their families.

– Proficiency in electronic medical record systems.

– Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices in long-term care.

– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
