Travel Nurse – Endoscopy

5x8s – 40hrs – Days

13 Weeks

$52.50/hr – $2100 Weekly

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Endoscopy Registered Nurse to join our prestigious healthcare facility in Cumming, GA. As an Endoscopy RN, you will be responsible for assisting with various gastroenterological procedures, including but not limited to colonoscopies, upper endoscopies, and sigmoidoscopies.

Responsibilities:

– Collaborate with physicians and other medical staff to develop effective patient care plans for endoscopic procedures

– Conduct patient assessments prior to, during, and post-procedure, documenting any changes in the patient’s condition

– Administer medications as prescribed and ensure patient safety throughout procedures

– Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and communicate any abnormalities or changes to the healthcare team

– Prepare endoscopy rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies prior to procedures

– Assist with the positioning of the patient and ensure their comfort and safety

– Maintain thorough, accurate and timely medical records to ensure compliance with hospital protocols

– Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and provide detailed instructions

– Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols

– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements:

– Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia

– Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy RN in a hospital or outpatient endoscopy center setting

– Current BLS and ACLS certifications

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

– Understanding of infection control protocols and safety regulations

– Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems
