Our healthcare facility is currently seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and highly skilled medical team in Lawrenceville, GA. The successful candidate will demonstrate critical thinking, adaptability, and exceptional communication skills to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Quickly and accurately assess patient conditions and prioritize treatment based on previous knowledge and training.
  • Administer medication and other emergency care procedures.
  • Effectively communicate with patients and families regarding their emergency treatment plan.
  • Document all interventions and communicate effectively with other healthcare providers on the patient’s condition and treatment plan.
  • Provide support and guidance to new emergency room team members, including certified nursing assistants and medical assistants.
  • Adhere to all guidelines, policies, and procedures established by the organization, state regulations, and professional standards of nursing practice.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to maintain current knowledge of evidence-based practices and nursing procedures.

Requirements:

 

  • Active registered nurse license in the state of .
  • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room RN experience.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication, critical thinking and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure while remaining calm and focused.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
