Job Title: Dialysis, Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Macon, GA

Blended Rate: $1900/wk

Shift: 3x12s – 36hrs – Days

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dialysis Registered Nurse to join our team in Macon, GA. As a Dialysis RN, you will provide specialized care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the process. This is a full-time position offering a competitive weekly salary of $2016 weekly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing dialysis treatment, including hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis.
  • Assess patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring patients’ responses and reporting any adverse reactions.
  • Operate and maintain dialysis equipment, ensuring proper functioning and adherence to safety standards.
  • Monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and other relevant parameters during dialysis sessions, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, lifestyle modifications, and potential complications, promoting self-care and disease management.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals, including physicians, nephrologists, social workers, and dietitians, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Document patient care activities accurately and comprehensively, maintaining confidentiality and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of nursing staff and dialysis technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Stay updated on the latest developments in dialysis treatments and technologies, participating in continuing education and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a dialysis setting, with a strong understanding of dialysis procedures and equipment.
  • BSN degree from an accredited nursing program (preferred) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on patient safety and quality care.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of regulatory guidelines and compliance requirements related to dialysis services.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
