We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated travel RN to join our growing team of registered nursing professionals. This exciting opportunity is for nurses who want to work in the high-energy environment of Diagnostic Imaging. nurses are responsible for preparation of patients for CT and MRI and nuclear medicine studies. Excellent critical thinking and IV skills needed, experience with contrast administration a plus.

RN Qualifications:

• BLS, ACLS, PALS
• RN LICENSE
• Telemetry experience required

Registered Nurse Duties & Responsibilities:

– Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards

– Assess and document patient history, including symptoms, medications and allergies

– Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

– Administer contrast agents as required for imaging procedures

– Monitor patients during and after imaging procedures and respond to any adverse reactions

– Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in reviewing and interpreting imaging results

– Document and maintain accurate records of diagnostic imaging procedures and results

– Educate patients on diagnostic imaging procedures and provide emotional support as needed

– Participate in quality control, safety, and infection control measures
