Our medical facility in Amherst, NY is seeking a dedicated and experienced Cardiology Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a Cardiology RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients with cardiovascular conditions under the direction of the cardiologist. You will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients with cardiovascular diseases.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and cardiac status.
• Educate patients and their families on cardiac conditions, treatments, and preventive care.
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as EKGs, stress tests, and cardiac catheterizations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support and counseling to patients and families facing cardiac health challenges.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.

Requirements:

• Valid RN license in the state of New York.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiology nursing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
