We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at a corrections facility in Oglethorpe, GA. As a Corrections LPN, you will play a vital role in providing medical care and support to incarcerated individuals within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
• Monitor and assess the health status of inmates, including vital signs and symptoms.
• Assist with medical procedures, such as dressing changes and wound care.
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid as needed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for inmates.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
• Educate inmates on health issues, medications, and self-care techniques.

Requirements:

• Valid LPN license in the state of Georgia.
• Previous experience working in a corrections or similar healthcare setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
• Basic computer skills for maintaining electronic medical records.
