We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Operating room travel registered nurse to join our growing team of registered nursing professionals.

LPN Qualifications:

• BLS,
• PA LPN LICENSE

LPN Duties & Responsibilities:

– Conduct initial health assessments of new inmates, including measurements of vital signs, medical history review, and medication reconciliation.

– Administer medications, injections, and treatments to inmates in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

– Monitor and manage chronic conditions, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, ensuring appropriate care and medication management.

– Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing necessary interventions and initiating appropriate protocols to stabilize the patient until further medical assistance can be provided.

– Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans for inmates, addressing both acute and chronic medical needs.

– Perform medical procedures, such as wound care, catheter insertion, and phlebotomy, adhering to sterile techniques and infection control guidelines.

– Document all patient care and treatment provided, accurately and timely, in electronic medical records (EMR) system.

– Foster a therapeutic and supportive environment, promoting emotional well-being and addressing any mental health concerns of inmates.

– Educate inmates on health-related topics, including disease prevention, self-care techniques, and medication adherence.

– Adhere to all safety regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
