Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist:

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and interventions as prescribed
-
Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments accordingly
-
Operate and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment
-
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff

Perform diagnostic tests such as ABGs, PFTs, and pulse oximetry
-
Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to safety protocols
Requirements of the Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist:

Active RRT license (Massachusetts or able to contain)

BLS certification required

Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in acute care

Proficient in ventilator management and emergency airway support

Ability to work independently in a dynamic, high-acuity environment
