Key Responsibilities of the Speech Language Pathologist

• Assess and provide interventions to guide feeding plans for preterm and medically complex infants
• Deliver care utilizing a neuro-protective, trauma-informed, and family-centered model
• Document patient information using EPIC

Requirements of the Speech Language Pathologist

• Active IL license or confirmation that application process has been initiated
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) by ASHA
• Experience in NICU, focusing on feeding of preterm and medically complex infants
• Dysphagia experience
• BLS Certification
