Job Title: RN – Telemetry – Travel

Location: Alexandria, LA

Pay: $88 per hour

Shifts: Days 7AM – 7PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Telemetry for a travel assignment in Alexandria, LA. This role involves working with cardiac and telemetry patients (not a stepdown unit) and offers the possibility of transitioning to a permanent position. The competent nurse will provide both routine and complex care while setting long-range goals and managing clinical contingencies effectively.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Telemetry

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitoring for side-effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers.

Requirements of the RN – Telemetry

• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification from AHA required
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• One year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred
