Job Title: RN – Surgery – Travel

Location: Lake Charles, LA

Pay: $2,529.60 weekly

Shifts: 6:30AM-3:00PM, Monday-Friday, with potential extension to 3:30PM

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced RN specializing in Surgery for a travel assignment in Lake Charles, LA. This role involves working primarily in the Operating Room (OR) dealing with a variety of cases including ENT, urology, gynecology, and ortho cases. The candidate must be ready to work immediately in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Surgery – Travel

• Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols, monitor side-effects, and evaluate effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.

Requirements of the RN – Surgery – Travel

• BLS certification required via AHA
• ACLS certification required via AHA
• PALS certification required via AHA
• RN License in state of employment or compact
• At least 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty is preferred
• Circulator experience is a must
