Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pre Op

• Conduct patient assessments and collect patient history.
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures.
• Administer medications and monitor patient vital signs.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe patient environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and the medical team.

Requirements of the RN – Pre Op

• Active RN license in the state of Louisiana.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in preoperative nursing preferred.
