Key Responsibilities of the RN – Pediatric Home Health:

• Provide individualized nursing care to pediatric patients in a home environment
• Perform comprehensive assessments and monitor patient progress and clinical status
• Administer medications, treatments, and physician-ordered therapies
• Manage specialized pediatric care needs, including tracheostomy care, ventilator support, feeding tubes, and oxygen therapy when required
• Educate parents, guardians, and caregivers on care plans, medications, and symptom management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits and interventions
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and family-centered approach to patient care

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience, preferably in pediatric home health, pediatrics, PICU, NICU, or related settings
• Active Ohio RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred
• Experience caring for medically complex pediatric patients is highly desirable
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work independently in a home care setting
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout the assigned service area
