Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Progressive Care

• Manage patients with telemetry and stepdown care needs
• Perform epidural and chest tube management
• Administer tube feedings and manage IV gluccomander
• Handle cardiac gtt management (phenylephrine, dobutamine, dopamine, etc.)

Requirements of the Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular Progressive Care

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Stepdown and telemetry experience
• Previous experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery populations preferred
