Key Responsibilities of the RN – PCU

• Provide specialized care to patients not requiring mechanical ventilation
• Handle patients with diagnoses such as CHF, Dysrhythmia, and Stroke
• Administer wound care and manage central lines
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage cardiac gtt

Requirements of the RN – PCU

• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months of PCU RN experience
• Experience with traches, cardiac rhythm interpretation, chest tubes, and blood products
