Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Post Anesthetic Care (PACU) for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves working in an outpatient surgery center, affiliated with a teaching hospital, to provide care to patients undergoing a variety of procedures including orthopedics and plastics.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – PACU

• Recover patients post-orthopedics, ENT, plastics, general, uro/urogyn surgeries
• Start PIV, administer PO and IV medications
• Interpret cardiac rhythms
• Provide discharge teaching and patient/family education
• Assess and manage pain and nausea

Requirements of the RN – PACU

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 3 years of experience in PACU
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience in critical care and post-anesthetic care setting
