Shifts: Days 1:4-5; Nights 1:5

This role focuses on providing care to high acuity and post-procedure cardiac patients in a dynamic hospital setting, requiring strong telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse – Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips independently
• Administer and manage cardiac drips including Amiodarone and Cardizem
• Pre/Post Cardiac Cath experience with femoral/radial procedures
• Monitor and manage chest tubes and sheath sites
• Participate in shared responsibilities, including phlebotomy

Requirements of the Registered Nurse – Med/Surg 2 Cardiac

• Valid BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years' experience
• Proficient in telemetry and EPIC charting system
