Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg

• Provide direct patient care to individuals in a medical-surgical setting
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to plan and implement patient care
• Document patient care and progress accurately in electronic health records
• Educate patients and their families about health management and treatment plans

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg

• Active RN license in the state of South Carolina
• BLS certification
• Minimum of one year of Med Surg experience
