Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg

• Provide direct patient care and monitor health conditions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient progress and communicate changes to the medical team
• Educate patients on post-discharge care and health management

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg

• Current Louisiana RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Previous experience in a Med Surg setting
