Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Med Surg to join the MS Stroke Stepdown unit in Utica, NY. This is a travel assignment requiring a highly skilled nurse familiar with working in a dynamic healthcare environment, especially in stroke management and stepdown patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med Surg – Travel

• Provide comprehensive care for stroke, altered mental status, and general med-surg patients
• Manage specialized equipment such as IV pumps, N/G tubes, and feeding tubes
• Ensure patient safety and adherence to unit protocols
• Assist with floating to other units as required

Requirements of the RN – Med Surg – Travel

• Active NY RN License verified through NURSYS and all active RN licenses
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years experience in MS with stroke stepdown experience
• Demonstrated travel experience in nursing
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
