Job Title: Med/Surg Registered Nurse – Travel

Location: Geneva, NY

Pay: $2,282.76 per week

Shifts: Full Time (36 hours) + 2 on-call shifts in 4 weeks including Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Med/Surg Registered Nurse for an exciting travel opportunity in Geneva, NY. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse to deliver high-quality care within a medical-surgical unit. As part of the team, the nurse will work collaboratively to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and provide direct patient care.

Key Responsibilities of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• Apply nursing knowledge and skill in the delivery of care.
• Assess patient/family needs through active listening and observation.
• Collaborate with the patient, family, and healthcare team to set goals and monitor progress.
• Promote health and safety through patient advocacy and education.
• Motivate patient/family for continued care and healing at home.
• Evaluate quality and effectiveness of nursing practice and adjust care plans as needed.
• Foster a caring relationship with patients and families to create a healing environment.
• Demonstrate skill in application of interventions including medication administration.

Requirements of the Med/Surg Registered Nurse

• New York State Registered Nurse Licensure
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS (AHA or RQI only), and NIHSS
• One year of experience in a Med/Surg environment as a Registered Nurse
