This role involves working in a well-equipped environment with 27 beds and an average census of 20 patients, providing expert care for conditions such as stroke, COPD, chest pain, and more. The position requires flexibility for regional floating within an integrated healthcare division.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with conditions such as stroke and COPD
• Manage chest tube, PIV starts, and trach care
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and manage medication gtts, including cardiac drips
• Coordinate patient care with support staff like CNAs and charge nurses
• Utilize technology such as Epic EMR and Omnicell for medical dispensing
• Participate in unit culture and maintain positive team-driven environment

Requirements of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum 18 months Med/Tele experience
• Expertise in general Med/Tele skills, including NIH assessments and PCA pump management
