This role involves working within a dynamic and supportive hospital environment that includes a Level 1 Trauma and Teaching Hospital designation, catering to a variety of patient needs with a focus on general medicine and telemetry.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• Provide direct and indirect patient care
• Maintain strong interpersonal communication skills
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Tolerate moderate to high stress levels
• Demonstrate capability in tasks such as reading telemetry strips, chest tube care, trach management, PIV starts, and drain/tube management
• Manage GTTs including Amiodarone, Fentanyl PCA, Ketamine PCA, Dilaudid PCA, and Heparin

Requirements of the RN – MedSurg/Tele

• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of MST experience
• Experience reading telemetry strips
