Key Responsibilities of the RN – Med/Surg

• Managing patient care for medical, surgical, and overflow conditions including COVID-19 and TB patients.
• Utilizing skills in chest tubes, tracheostomy management, IV, and port/central line care.
• Collaborating with CNAs, charge nurses, and phlebotomy teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Participating in interdisciplinary teams including RT, hospitalists, and code blue teams.
• Adapting to scheduling needs including potential weekend rotations and holiday expectations.

Requirements of the RN – Med/Surg

• Valid BLS certification
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Proficient with EPIC charting system and CPAP/BiPAP/Airvo equipment
• Competency in chest tube and stable trach management preferred
