Seven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Oklahoma. The hospital delivers approximately 850 to 900 infants a year, providing comprehensive care services for women and newborns. Nurses in this role will play a crucial part in ensuring excellent care during the perinatal period.

Key Responsibilities of the RN – Labor and Delivery

• Assess patients' clinical conditions and take appropriate action in serious situations
• Formulate and execute nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Initiate emergency measures when necessary
• Operate and monitor emergency care equipment
• Administer prescribed therapeutic measures such as medications and IV therapy
• Document patient care, progress, and interventions thoroughly
• Provide guidance and direction to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Uphold professional, ethical, and legal standards in nursing practice

Requirements of the RN – Labor and Delivery

• Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery
• Oklahoma or Compact RN License
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Meet pre-employment credentialing clearances (Background Check and Drug Screen)
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50lbs
