Key Responsibilities of the RN – Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive care during labor and delivery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, midwives, and doulas
• Perform routine procedures such as c-sections and vaginal deliveries
• Manage both low risk and high risk obstetric cases
• Ensure patient safety and quality care throughout the delivery process

Requirements of the RN – Labor and Delivery

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital L&D experience
• NRP, BLS, ACLS, EFM-C or AWHONN certifications
• Proficiency in using GE fetal monitor systems and EMR systems such as CPN, Meditech
