Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Nurse

• Coordinate and implement patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on assigned units.
• Ensure quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner.
• Demonstrate performance consistent with the mission, philosophy, and goals of the unit and organization.
• Deliver patient care with respect and consideration for patients and families.
• Act as helping hands during low census when required.

Requirements of the Clinical Nurse

• Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license.
• BLS Certification from AHA required.
• ACLS Certification from AHA required.
• PALS Certification from AHA required (or ENPC).
• TNCC or ATCN required.
• CPI or Equivalent preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited program for Registered Nursing.
