Key Responsibilities of the RN – ED

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care per established standards and policies
• Utilize evidence-based practices and clinical decision-making
• Manage various emergency situations, including trauma, stroke, cardiac events, and more
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for a seamless patient care experience

Requirements of the RN – ED

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an emergency department
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
• Experience in a Level 1 trauma center preferred
