Key Responsibilities of the CVOR Registered Nurse

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate healthcare services for surgical patients
• Maintain sterile procedures throughout the surgery
• Ensure necessary equipment and medications are available for the operating team
• Record progress and outcomes of surgical procedures
• Ensure proper handling of specimens
• Provide quality control and ensure patient safety at all times

Requirements of the CVOR Registered Nurse

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• 2 years of current experience in an acute CVOR setting
