Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care to patients
• Utilize medical equipment such as GE R860 Adult vents and Draeger Infant/Peds vents
• Collaborate with medical team members in intensive care and other units
• Perform advanced respiratory therapy procedures

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• North Carolina Respiratory License
• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
• NRP certification preferred
