Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients
• Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment plans accordingly
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver integrated patient care
• Ensure accurate documentation of therapies and patient progress

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within specialty
• Required AHA BLS, ACLS & PALS certifications
• NBRC – RRT certified
• Licensed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the Georgia Composite Medical Board
