Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Administer respiratory care and life support to patients with pulmonary disorders
• Evaluate patient progress and modify treatments accordingly
• Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory care and equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in Texas
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Experience in a clinical setting preferred
