Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist – NICU

• Manage neonatal airway and ventilation, including transport ventilators
• Oversee transport operations and maintain safety protocols
• Provide critical neonatal care, including RDS management and oxygen administration
• Ensure efficient communication and coordination with healthcare facilities
• Demonstrate crisis management, including infection control and respiratory support

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist – NICU

• RRT/CRT and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years NICU Transport experience
• Expertise in transport physiology and isolette system management
• Ability to manage equipment and ensure patient safety during transports
• PALS certification and STABLE preferred
