Shifts: Rotating 8 & 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, rotating holidays

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Conduct respiratory therapy assessments and protocols
• Perform arterial punctures and blood gas analysis
• Manage ventilator and NIV therapy
• Deliver medications and assist with airway clearance
• Support intubations, tracheostomy changes, and decannulation
• Participate in extubations and emergency response teams
• Engage in ICU rounds and patient transport
• Assist in high-risk deliveries

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• Minimum 2 years recent respiratory therapist experience
• RRT via NBRC, CRT considered
• BLS (AHA), NRP, and PALS (AHA) required
• Experience with NICU and/or PICU populations, adult experience beneficial
• Level 4 NICU experience with high frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, high-risk deliveries
• ND state license or willingness to apply within 72 hours of job offer acceptance
