Key Responsibilities of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

• Conduct cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and monitor lab equipment (4 Philips, 1 Siemens)
• Document procedures using the Merge system
• Provide moderate sedation and circulate in the Cath Lab
• Participate in procedures such as LHC, RHC, TAVR, TEER, EP, ECMO, Impella, ICD/PPM, Peripheral procedures, and Endovascular AAA

Requirements of the Radiologic Technologist – Interventional Radiology

• Advanced certification: ACLS & BLS
• ARRT (R) certification
• Experience in Cath Lab circulating and moderate sedation
