Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist

• Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
• Operate and maintain radiation equipment
• Monitor patient's condition during treatment and report any adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within specialty
• Required AHA BLS
• ARRT (RRT) certification
