Key Responsibilities of the Radiation Therapist

• Utilize Varian treatment systems, Truebeam, Trilogy, and IBA Proton.
• Employ Aria EMR effectively for patient management.
• Participate in unit and department-specific orientation programs.
• Ensure adherence to treatment schedules, including occasional weekend treatments if necessary.

Requirements of the Radiation Therapist

• Active VA State License
• RT(T) Certification
• BLS Certification (AHA required)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with specified treatment systems
