Shifts: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM, 7 on 7 off

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Pharmacist

• Verify Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE) orders for accuracy
• Prepare and dispense medications safely and accurately
• Develop and implement drug therapy management protocols
• Issue controlled substances and maintain legal records
• Detect and report adverse drug reactions and medication errors
• Supervise and direct pharmacy support personnel

Requirements of the Travel Pharmacist

• PharmD or Bachelor's degree with recent acute care hospital experience
• Current pharmacist licensure in Florida
• Advanced skills in pediatric solutions and pharmaceutical calculations
• Experience in TPN calculations and solving Pyxis issues
