Shifts: Monday – Friday, Shifts ranging from 7am-9pm; Saturday + Sunday: Shifts ranging from 7am-7pm (Mix of 8 hour and 12-hour shifts)

Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a Travel assignment in Johnson City, NY. The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the correct medication is administered to patients, focusing on clinical appropriateness and effective product delivery. This role is situated in a retail pharmacy environment and offers a dynamic work schedule.

Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacist

• Interpret and clarify orders/prescriptions from physicians and intervene when necessary.
• Ensure prescriptions are filled according to professional standards and laws.
• Communicate with patients during prescription counseling and educational activities.
• Maintain accurate controlled substance documentation.
• Oversee and supervise technical staff during distribution activities.
• Prepare, supervise, and check compounded products.
• Prepare and execute pharmacy-related documents and reports for regulatory compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements of the Pharmacist

• Bachelor of Science Degree (B.S.) or Pharm.D. in Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
• Licensed as a Pharmacist in New York State or NYS internship permit.
• EPIC/WAM experience preferred.
• One year of experience as a pharmacist preferred.
