This role requires proficiency in handling high-volume workloads in a large hospital laboratory environment. The successful candidate will be adept in using Sysmex and CellaVision systems and will have significant experience in large neonatal units.

Key Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist

• Perform laboratory tests accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment
• Utilize Sysmex and CellaVision systems for laboratory operations
• Conduct differential analyses, especially in neonatal units
• Manage complex samples including turbid specimens, platelet clumps, and abnormal cell findings

Requirements of the Medical Technologist

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
• Cerner experience required
• ASCP, AMT, AAB certifications
• Experience in a large hospital laboratory (600+ beds preferred)
