Key Responsibilities of the LVN – Med Surg

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes
• Provide wound care and assistance with mobility
• Maintain accurate patient records in Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care

Requirements of the LVN – Med Surg

• BCLS certification
• Critical thinking skills
• Experience with IV skills and ortho/kidney transplant care preferred
