Key Responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Provide skilled nursing duties and assessments for adult clients
• Supervise and account for patients in the facility
• Deliver care as directed by medical and nursing providers
• Observe, report, and document patient status
• Maintain and protect patient rights
• Utilize therapeutic communication and de-escalation techniques

Requirements of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
• Current Practical Nurse license in the State of Montana
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an LPN
• 1 year of contract experience
• CPI Certification preferred
• Experience with developmental, behavioral, or psychiatric disorders preferred
• Local to Montana preferred
