This travel role involves performing technical procedures and contributing to patient care, utilizing advanced CT technology to deliver diagnostic images while ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities of the CT Technologist

• Perform CT scans on trauma and emergency room patients, outpatients, inpatients, research patients, and during specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Ensure radiation safety measures as per New York State Department of Health code
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology evolves

Requirements of the CT Technologist

• Graduate of an approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit holder
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer certification
• Entry level experience
